Tuesday, August 19, 2008. This month has been an interesting transition. I have been able to reconnect with old friends, but there have been some with whom it has been a struggle to reconnect with, and at times, a bit awkward. I hate to see that happen, but this past year has brought much change.

My 27 months as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo. Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Overall, I do feel very accomplished with my service. While cleaning out my house, I found a workbook that Peace Corps had given us during staging in Philadelphia. Inside, they had us write what we wanted out of Peace Corps to feel accomplished. Complete at least one successful project and make some positive contribution to my community. Feel comfortable and integrated in my host community.
